System Requirements
CISA web solutions require an internet connection.
To read and write contactless cards, the USB reader and the CISA Reader App software are required.

Operating System
Windows 10 and Windows 11 on Intel x64 platform.
Browser
Current or immediately previous version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge.
Remarks
- Although we do not recommend that you connect to CISA solutions by using other Windows operating systems or older browsers, CISA won’t deliberately prevent you from connecting to the service, but we won’t provide code fixes to resolve problems related to those configurations, and the quality of the user experience will diminish over time.
- In order to use a Mac computer to read and write cards with the contactless USB reader, you need a virtualization software like Parallels Desktop or VmWare Fusion, with one of the recommended Windows versions installed as "guest" operating system. N.B: at the time of writing we are not aware of virtualization software that can host Windows x64 (required) on an Apple M-series platform (M1 or M2): they can only host Windows on ARM which misses the required drivers.
