Mount and dismount electronic cylinder

 

Once installed, the electronic cylinder can be dismount only by presenting to the electronic knob the Service Card set to Mount/Dismount mode.
Note: the cylinder must be initialized, synchronized and the batteries should not be exhausted.

How to program a Service Card set to Mount / Dismount mode

Click on Doors sheet, then on Cylinders Maintenance and click on Mount/Dismoun button.

Place a Service Card on the reader and wait for the completion of the automatic procedure.

At the end, take the Service card set to Mount/Dismount mode, and click on End
The Service Card will be valid until midnight of the day you created it, afterword it expires.

 

How to dismount the electronic cylinder

Go near the door where you installed the electronic cylinder to dismount. Open the door with a card enabled (the cylinder emits 5 green blinks).

With the open door, present to the cylinder the Service Card set to Mount / Dismount mode.

The cylinder emits one two-tone red&green blink and two green blinks.

Rotate the electronic knob of the cylinder in a clockwise direction applying a slight traction in order to remove it.
If after a full turn it has not been removed, rotate it in counterclockwise direction in the same manner.
The knob of the electronic cylinder will release from its headquarters.

If necessary, once extracted the electronic knob, you can remove the cylinder body from its seat by unscrewing the screw (as shown in the picture) and taking off the cylinder from the inside (where there is the other knob).

 

How to mount the electronic cylinder

Insert the body of the cylinder in the hole of the door, fixing it with the provided screw.

Insert the electronic knob in the body of the cylinder positioned in the door, turning until you hear a "click" of the hooking.

Present to the cylinder a card enabled to open (the cylinder emits 5 green blinks).
Check that the knob is locked rotating one full turn the knob and simultaneously applying a slight traction.
